O artigo pretende-se uma narrativa dialógica entre uma jovem seringueira e moradora da Reserva Extrativista do Alto Juruá, de nome Ivanilde Gomes de Souza, e a autora, antropóloga por formação. O material a partir do qual o texto é construído são diários escritos por Ivanilde a partir de 1994. A autora opta então por um diálogo em duas frentes: num primeiro momento, os diários de Ivanilde como um canal de acesso à vida social no interior das florestas do Alto Rio Juruá. Em seguida, a atenção volta-se para depoimentos intimistas, que revelam circunstâncias e emoções vivenciadas por Ivanilde e as interpretações que ela vai construindo para o sentido de sua vida.

Abstract

The article intends to be a dialogical narrative involving a young rubber-tapper, Ivanilde, resident of the Upper Juruá Extractive Reserve, and the author, an anthropologist. The material from which the text is constructed are the diaries written by Ivanilde since 1994. The author explores dialogues in two ways: first, Ivanilde's diaries are considered as a way of access to sociallife in the Upper Juruá River's forests. Then, the attention is drawn to intimate statements which reveal circunstances, emotions and interpretations through which Ivanilde gives meaning to her life.
