Abstract

The goal of the lecture Kant and the "clear and blur" representations is to analyze kantian researches about the clear and blur representations typical of the aesthetics knowledge presented in the Reflexionen zur Logik and in the Logik edited by Jäsche. The question analyzed by Kant is about studies developed by Leibniz, Wolff, Baumgarten and Meier. Kant shows a critic position and proposes a different explanation of the problem, which is particular evident where he describes the formation in the subject of the concept of beauty, which allows to explain the subtle and deep difference between blur concept and indistinct concept of beauty.
