Resumo

Este artigo aborda os aspectos da cultura política das classes trabalhadoras no Brasil, com base em resultados de survey realizado em 1990. Contrariando uma tese corrente, o autor sustenta que o aspecto dominante no conjunto de opiniões e atitudes políticas da classe trabalhadora e o apoio à democracia.

 

Abstract

This article studies some aspects of the political culture of the Brazilian working class, based on the results of a 1990 survey. Contrary to a current thesis, the author affirms that the prevalent aspect in the worker's opinions and political attitudes is the support to democracy.
