Abstract
The society’s culture preserved for years through the use of transmissions’ means and of knowledge appropriation is in danger because the information and communication technologies weaken the information recording and processing. This risk is reflected in the models of permanent digital records management, which are administrated by Administration and Information and Communication Technologies professionals, the present managers of information. This article contextualizes the influence that these professionals exert in the digital records preservation and the problems caused by the inadequate management of permanent digital record.
