Resumo

Esse artigo estuda as orientações valorativas e avaliativas de cidadãos venezuelanos e está baseado no fato de que a imagem da Venezuela como paraíso da democracia latino-americana ficou seriamente afetada com as duas tentativas de Golpe Militar em 1992 que, embora frustradas, mobilizaram um considerável apoio da população.  

 

Abstract

This article is a study of evaluative and value orientations of Venezuelan citizens. It's based on the fact that Venezuela's image as a heaven of democracy in Latin America was seriously damaged in 1992 when two military coup d'etat attempts were frustrated, but their leaders were able to mobilize considerable public support.
