Abstract
Introduction: Solidarity Kitchens (CSol) in Brazil emerged from social organization, especially participation of family farmers, the Landless Workers Movement (MST), and the Homeless Workers Movement (MTST), in response to the hunger situation aggravated during the pandemic. They act as a gateway to welcoming vulnerable people. Objective: To report the structure of a research project that aims to develop an intersectoral structural model in network and a dialogical educational matrix to promote Food and Nutritional Security (FNS) in vulnerable territories, considering food supply and the formation of CSol teams. Methods: A team formed by public managers, members of the MST, MTST, CEAGESP and researchers, intends to build a situational diagnosis of the physical, territorial and human structural conditions, identify the origin of food, study the planning, preparation and distribution of meals, identify the food produced by family farmers, associations, cooperatives and partner settlers, and the contribution of supply centers and local-regional food banks. Methods: research of public data, problematization according to Maguerez; participant observation and focus groups, from the perspective of citizen research. To determine the sample and the multimaps, Artificial Intelligence and geoprocessing resources will be used. Results: A model will be proposed for application in Brazilian municipalities that will contribute to actions and policies for promoting FNS. Conclusion: This experience report presents the theoretical framework and the process of building the project to strengthen CSol as a social technology for promoting Food and Nutrition Security in vulnerable territories.
