Resumo
O objetivo deste estudo é investigar a relação de satisfação profissional dos jovens e a adequação educacional, mensurada a partir da compatibilização da escala ISCO e ISCED. Para tanto, foram utilizados dados da Pesquisa de Transição da Escola para o Trabalho (SWTS) da Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT), uma base de dados específica para o público jovem de 15 a 29 anos, no Brasil. Utilizou-se um modelo próbite ordenado, sendo a variável dependente o grau de satisfação profissional dos jovens. Foi verificada uma relação negativa e significativa da qualificação excessiva sobre a satisfação no trabalho. Além disso, ter um trabalho formal e maior salário/hora está positivamente relacionado com a satisfação no trabalho.
