Resumo

Este artigo objetiva mostrar como os regimes monetários internacionais bem-sucedidos possuem atributos comuns: capacidade de ajustamento de preços relativos, adesão de seus participantes a regras monetárias robustas e habilidade para conter pressões de mercado.

Abstract

This paper aims to highlight three common characteristics of all satisfactory international monetary arrangements: the capacity to effect relative price adjustments, adherence by the participants to robust monetary rules, and the hability to contain market pressures.
