Abstract

How to make in-depth artificial intelligence (AI) and give it more maturity? How to produce a more complete, robust and rigorous knowledge that helps us to find its ethical meaning? This article is an initial effort to address these issues through Gilbert Simondon’s (2014) notion of “in-depth technology” in dialogue with recent analyzes made in the field of critical studies on AI that move towards investigating the epistemic and operating foundations of AI technologies to propose non-autocratic ways of designing and running AI systems.
