Abstract
This work seeks to understand how the projects of young Brazilian students who have entered or recently left Portuguese universities are changing after a few years living in Portugal. We based on the concepts of project and field of possibilities by Brazilian anthropologist Gilberto Velho and conducted in-depth interviews to understand their trajectories. We conclude that while some young people were able to project more concrete ideas for their futures, most find it difficult to delineate a more solid plan for their lives, which was further aggravated in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
