Abstract
The article seeks to contribute to the study of the human rights of immigrants in crisis contexts, particularly in countries that have a high number of temporary immigrants as an essential part of their workforce. This article analyses a Survey of temporary immigrants, mostly international students, in the context of the first wave of Covid-19 in Australia. We will present the dilemmas and vulnerabilities of non-citizens in crisis contexts based on the response to the online Survey conducted by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in partnership with the Migrant Worker Justice Initiative in March 2020.
