Resumen
El aislamiento social provocado por la pandemia Covid-19 aceleró la presencia de las mídias digitales en el cotidiano, a escala global. Intentando reaccionar ante el inesperado y trágico evento provocado por el nuevo coronavirus, surgieron varios archivos digitales de las experiencias vividas durante la pandemia. Estos proyectos adoptaron técnicas y preceptos que ya existían. Sin embargo, por primera vez, un solo evento disruptivo ha impulsado iniciativas similares en todo el mundo. Comprender los problemas teóricos que surgen del archivo digital es un desafío al que la historiografía debe ser capaz de responder. Este artículo sostiene que los archivos digitales de la pandemia Covid-19 presentan una oportunidad ideal para que estos problemas sean observados a una escala comparativa y global. Discutiendo la dimensión teórica de la categoría “archivo digital” y observando una muestra de archivos de la pandemia en todo el mundo, se ofrecen notas introductorias sobre este tema, sugiriendo rutas de investigación para humanistas interesados en el tema.
