Resumo
In may book: Machado de Assis: The Brasilian Pyrrhonian (West Lafayette: Purdue U.P., 1994) I make extensive use of Book I of Sextu's Outlines of Pyrrhonism in my examination of the scepticism exhibites in Machado's fiction. This does not commit me to the thesis that Machados's scepticism is typically of the ancient Pyrrhonian variety.
