Abstract
The presente article discusses the very idea of na inteligente action, and its bearings on AI research. Starting from criticismo of naive suppositions for constructs of knowledge represetation systems, we examine the relative relevance (in terms of necessity and sufficience) of syntax, semantics, pragmatics, normative and intentional dispositions, as well as social, tacit Knowledge contentes, for the casting of both knowledge and na agent’s mastery over knowledge. It is shown that so many issues are involved in topic, that it becomes difficult to take sides, without one being naive again.
