Abstract
This paper discusses about the enunciative event 'Green School Research Project', developed in the urban space of the Sinop city, northern region of Mato Grosso State – Brazil, in the theoretical and methodological perspective of the Event Semantics. It aims to present the naming, reference and designation of the formulation of the project name, as well as the enunciative functioning of Environmental Education and sustainable development in the researched object, through interviews with the project's creators. The result of this work shows that there was a rewriting of the project that allowed new designations and, the operation of certain words written in the project appear as substitutable terms for the word 'green', which leads to consider the enunciation spaces and the memorable.
