Abstract
This work aims to systematically analyze the literature to understand how the intersection between hospitality and migration is structured. The WebOfScience platform was used due to its extensive base of high-impact journals. “Hospitality” and “immigration” were defined as search terms, applying a time frame between 2017 and 2022, privileging recent discussions on this issue. The search resulted in 14 initial articles, of which 9 were classified for in-depth analysis. The theoretical framework contemplated the multidisciplinarity of the discussion about hospitality, understanding it as a social fact where the relationship between identity and alterity becomes central. After analyzing the selected articles, Derrida's perspective of unconditional hospitality was highlighted, emphasizing the critical potential of research in hospitality based on this perspective.
