Abstract
This paper investigate the construction of the knowledge about language in Brazilian grammars in tirar moments: the 19° century, the middle and the end of the 20° century. For this purpose, it reviews a previous analysis of the chapter concerning pronouns in some representative grammars, studies the imperative mood in the in the same books, and proposes a reflection on two aspects of the structure of the grammatical text in these tree moments: the exemplification and the graphical configuration of the text.These elements together allow to show different modes of enunciation of the relation between the grammarian, his knowledge and the language, according to the historical specificity of each moment.
