Para a história do português brasileiro : mudança e memória

Abstract

This article discusses the trajectories of configuration of senses of the national language in Brazil, based on a study of text published in Brazilian Newspaper by the end of the nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth century. The enunciative analysis of what is said about the language, on the one hand, and of a syntatic fact - the filling of the direct object, on the other, show that in the workspace of language differences and/or regularities emerge which make it possible to observe the Foundation of a discourse on Brazilian identities, as well as to capture this movement of identity in the forms of the language.
