Abstract
Composing volume 23, the Languages and Linguistic Instruments, presents its number 46 consisting of nine articles in the Open Section, an essay in the Chronicles and Controversies Section and a Review. In the Open Section, the first study “The quotidian in the History of Linguistic Ideas”, by Ana Cláudia Fernandes Ferreira, deals with a discursive theorizing about the quotidian, based on Michel de Certeau, Michel Pêcheux, Sylvain Auroux and Eni Orlandi. The author proposes to think that everyday linguistic knowledge is not covered by the notion of epilinguistic knowledge, emphasizing that everyday linguistic knowledge, as ideological effects, can be epilinguistic or metalinguistic.
