Dobras interdiscursivas e efeitos imaginários: a ilusão da subjetividade

Abstract

In this article, we analyse the way 'discursive folds' work in the construction of meaning, in relation to the imaginary effects they produce in speech. With the theoretical support of the Historical Semantics of Uttering, we seek to show that such imaginary effects colaborate in the establishment of the ilusion of subjectivity, an inalienable component of discursive functioning and of meaning construction, inasmuch as the constitution of the subject and of meaning finds in subjectivity a condition necessary to the establishment of a subject who is consistent and presents a certain duration, specificity and domain. Such consitence garantees the coherence necessary in speech for the subject to produce meaning.
