Abstract
Thirty years after the publication of an analysis of the forms of silencing of the D.D.H.H. in Uruguay's post-dictatorship discourse, the aim is to identify and interpret what has happened to this object during the intervening period. Strong continuities are thus identified, in particular the persistence of the "victim-executioner" pair, while at the same time the new vindicatory formats that the D.D.H.H. acquired are recorded. At both moments, Eni P. Orlandi's reflection on "silencing" allows us to open up the analysis beyond the concept of "censorship”.
