Resumen
El problema de la modernidad ocupa un lugar central en la reflexión política realizada por Leo Strauss. Teniendo esto en cuenta, el objetivo fundamental de este trabajo es analizar cómo este autor entendió y cuestionó el proyecto filosófico propuesto por los pensadores modernos. En este sentido, intentaremos comprender cómo, desde la perspectiva de Strauss, la modernidad, buscando lograr en la historia el mejor orden político a través del abandono del esoterismo tradicional y una politización radical de la filosofía, implica un ideal de racionalización de la vida humana. eso es, en última instancia, problemático tanto para la sociedad como para la filosofía.
