Según Streumer y Wodak, un tipo particular de objeción formal a la teoría del error normativo falla porque se basa en un supuesto cuestionable sobre la dualidad lógica de los conceptos normativos de permisibilidad e impermisibilidad. En esta discusión, argumentamos que hay un error en su acusación; como tal, la objeción formal a la teoría del error normativo todavía podría prevalecer.
