Resumo
Esse artigo visa discutir a literatura sobre mobilidade induzida por mudanças climáticas a partir de uma abordagem histórico-estruturalista das teorias de mobilidade considerando as contribuições de Wallerstein, Portes e outros autores. O objetivo principal é entender de que forma condições socioeconômicas predisponentes diferem o número de deslocados anuais em virtude de desastres climáticos em países desenvolvidos e em desenvolvimento. Para isso serão utilizados dados de deslocamentos induzidos por mudanças climáticas e índices de vulnerabilidade e prontidão em vinte países, afim de responder a seguinte pergunta: qual a situação dos países desenvolvidos e em desenvolvimento sob a ótica da teoria histórico-estruturalista no que se refere à deslocamentos induzidos por mudanças climáticas?
