Abstract

The present dossier "Studies on the mass-count distinction" of the Journal LIAMES – Línguas Indígenas Americanas presents the description of the syntactic distribution and interpretation of count and mass nouns in six indigenous languages: Parkatêjê (Macro Jê), Rikbaktsa (Macro Jê), Kheuól do Uaçá (Creole language), Nadëb (Naduhup), Ticuna (isolated language) and Wa'ikhana (Eastern Tukano).
