The oedipus myth

Abstract

"The more one penetrates into the intimate nature of primitive myths, the more one becomes convinced that they are mostly related to the Sun." This opinion of Max Muller, which may seem singular and paradoxical, comes from a true feeling of the conditions in which humanity found itself placed in its infancy.
