Abstract
For a long time, material culture was neglected at the historiographical débat, and only in last decades it became a rich field for new horizonts in the scientific research, specially in studies focused on Ancient History. This essay aims to analyse particular elements of material egyptian royal daily life and their relationship with egyptian hieroglyphic language in order to contribute for understandig of the changements concerning to some Cleopatra VIIth. (69-30 B.C.) depictions during her reign.
