Abstract

The Anthropocene is a theme of intense scientific debates since the first time that it was presented in the year 2000. Since this date, many terms crossed disciplinary frontiers and started to be approached in an interdisciplinary way. Among these terms are: technodiversity technosphere, psychotechnosphere, technofossil, technostratigraphy, and Sixth Mass Extinction. This article brings a reflection about the importance of these terms to Archaeology, showing a study that aims the apprehend the magnitude of everything that was produced by humankind. Through this study, I elaborated some ideas that may be useful to an archaeological reflection of the environments we build.
