Resumo

Esse artigo tem como objetivo compreender as representações da morte e suas relações com a memória a partir da estela funerária de UrsiliaIngenua. Para tanto, traçaremos algumas reflexões críticas acerca das dimensões mais particulares e emocionais da lembrança dos mortos, à medida que o túmulo poderia se tornar um espaço de peregrinação e reverência, uma casa ou santuário para os mortos e modo de associação dos mortos com as divindades e seus atributos. Conforme nossa análise, tais reminiscências mantiveram não apenas o nome de Trebio vivo, mas cumpriram as necessidades emocionais dos sobreviventes.
