Abstract
The book Latin American Telquelisms: The French critical theory in the in of the tropics, by Jorge Wolff, professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, part of a relevant questioning: to what extent the avant-garde tendencies of criticism French in the years 1960 and 1970 – represented, notably, by the Tel Quel Group and its namesake magazine – had an influence on the intellectuality of the Southern Cone?
