Abstract
Ricardo Piglia decided to publish his personal diaries, but not before retouching and modifying them, as well as adding new texts. Hence, the daily writing was reformulated as a retroactive writing and decisively changed the characteristics of some of the tracts through a clearly controversial gesture. Especially when, in the dramatic circumstance of being diagnosed with a terminal illness in the process of reviewing the texts, Piglia knew that the publication of these diaries could only be posthumous.
