Abstract

In this critical review, the most recent title of Brazilian professor and researcher Daniel Marinho Laks (Modernisms in incipient modernities. EdUFSCar, 2020) is presented. The work comparatively addresses two Portuguese-speaking writers (Mário de Andrade and Almada Negreiros), situating them in different modernisms and articulating an analytical proposal of erasure on the commonplace of delay of these aesthetics in geo-political spaces, considered then, peripheral .
