Resumo
Este artículo es una reflexión basada en una revisión documental sobre el rol de los y las trabajadores sociales dentro de las universidades públicas de Chile. El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer un análisis de cómo la Universidad (estudiantes, profesores y personal administrativo) está siendo afectada por la pandemia del Covid-19 y, específicamente, responder a la siguiente pregunta ¿Cuáles son los nuevos retos y tensiones para la intervención social en la educación superior en el contexto de la pandemia por Covid 19? El método utilizado es una revisión documental de la literatura disponible. Se utilizan como marco teórico las experiencias psicosociales y educativas, así como los conocimientos sobre el trabajo social en el ámbito de la educación. Como conclusiones surgen algunos retos y sugerencias para la intervención social en el contexto de la educación superior en emergencia por pandemia Covid-19.
