PARC: Pesquisa em Arquitetura e Construção

Scope: The Journal PARC (Pesquisa em Arquitetura e Construção) – is an academic journal of scientific research in Architecture and Building Construction. The journal is edited by the Department of Architecture and Building Construction of the School of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urban Design of the University of Campinas, UNICAMP, Campinas, Brazil. The journal publishes 4 issues per year including scientific papers on the following subjects: design methods, theory of architecture and urban design and building technology. The aims of the editorial board and international scientific committee are to maintain a high standard of academic discussions on current debates in the above-mentioned areas of research. The journal therefore intends to contribute to the theoretical and scientific repertoire that can support architects, planners and other design professionals working in the related areas in their professional or academic endeavors. Article selection, as well as editorial calls, follow the guidelines adopted by major journals in the field and recommendations of "Qualis" maintained by CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior).
