Resumo

Este trabalho postula que a Generalização de Takano está incorreta, i.e., argumenta-se que não existe uma restrição de sintaxe estrita que proíba a movimentação de um sintagma do qual o núcleo foi extraído. Isso é demonstrado por meio de um estudo de caso da construção da dobra enfática no espanhol rioplatense, que requer uma derivação que proceda exatamente nesses termos. Também é apresentada uma conjectura que tenta dar conta dos dados que motivam a Generalização de Takano.
