Resumo
In this paper, I argue that digressions, which are extremely frequent in spoken texts, not only are not disruptive of coherence, but, in fact, in virtue of being determeined by the principle of converstional relevance, play a salient role in the construction of coherence in face-to-face interactions.Referências
