Abstract

Chomsky (1995) propõe que a incompatibilidade de traços em configuração de checagem (“feature mismatch”) causa o cancelamento de um derivação sintática. Este trabalho discute a base conceptual e empírica dessa proposta, apontando alguns problemas e delineando possíveis abordagens alternativas.
