Warung’s Conversations: Martabak Telor with I Nyoman Terima

Abstract

I Nyoman Terima (50 years old) is an actor of traditional Balinese dance-dramas. Born in the village of Batuan, in the regency of Gianyar, Terima is the nephew of Mestre I Made Djimat, one of the most important dance-dramas masters in Bali. Terima has already performed in several countries, including Brazil, accompanying master Djimat in 2010 in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. He taught balinese dramas at Lasalle College of Arts in Singapore and, currently, at the Tri Pusaka Sakti Arts Foundation in Batuan. He is an actor and dancer in the Tri Pusaka Sakti Ensemble.
