Performance as a flow to rethink gender and ecology in the city from the action “Retralhas” : about patchwork, junk, threads, things and wefts

Abstract

In this article, we will discuss the performative action “Retralhas”, committed during 2019 in various spaces in the city of Fortaleza. We talked about the need to demechanize the relationships we have with the world, based on the performance and in the text of Tim Ingold (2012). I propose a dialogue with the notions of Deep Ecology by Fritjof Capra (1996) and with some texts that examine the performance of Eleonora Fabião (FABIÃO, 2013; ASSUMPÇÃO, 2015; FERREIRA DA SILVA, 2016), in order to find ties between city, performance and gender
