Abstract

The instructional constraints are an important fator that influence the performance of
practitioners. This study aims to analyze the influence of instructional constraints given by the
coach's on the performance of a task of 1x1 with finalization in football. Eleven soccer
players participated voluntarily (17.91 ± 1.04 years old) with 8.6 ± 1.52 years of practice. We
used three conditions of instruction, one of risk, another of conservation of the ball and a
neutral where no calls to any strategy or offensive tactics. Significant differences were
detected between the three groups, temporal duration of offensive action (H (2) = 55,38; p = 0,000), recurrence bipedal (H (2) = 9,01; p = 0,011), exceeded the defense (H (2) = 10.61; p =
0,005), loss of ball by the attacker (H (2) = 11,42; p = 0,003) and number of shots on goal (H
(2) = 11,42; p = 0,003). The results show the effect of instructional constraints on players’
performance.
