Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the satisfaction and perfectionism levels of athletes of futsal
teams in the North and Northwest region of Parana, participants of Parana’s Futsal
Championship. The subjects were 58 male athletes. The instruments used were the Athlete
Satisfaction Questionnaire and the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale. For data analysis,
it was used the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, the Cronbach's alpha, Repeated Measures Anova
and post hoc of Bonferroni and Fisher’s exact test, adopting p <0,05. The results showed
that the athletes had moderate scores in athlete satisfaction and didn’t showed characteristics
of perfectionism; there was no association between the tendency to adjusted and unadjusted
perfectionism with athletes satisfaction, there was no correlation between the traits of
perfectionism and athletes satisfaction. It was concluded that perfectionism is not an
intervening factor in the level of satisfaction of futsal athletes of teams in the North and
Northwest region of Parana.
