O BRASIL NA SEGUNDA GUERRA MUNDIAL - HISTÓRIAS DE PRACINHAS ESTABELECENDO OS CAMINHOS DA PESQUISA NA OBRA DE NORBERT ELIAS

Resumo

A pesquisa foi embasada em três livros de Norbert Elias: O Processo Civilizador, que possibilitou uma análise mais profunda e que deu sentido ao meu objeto de pesquisa sobre o cotidiano dos pracinhas brasileiros. Em Condição Humana, lançado em 1985, 40 anos após a guerra, ELIAS nos coloca diante dos conflitos humanos que fazem parte do destino do homem. O autor vivenciou episódios importantes da política européia antes da Segunda Guerra Mundial  são marcas agudas na sua vida, com a perda de parentes muito próximos; tais fatos caracterizaram profundamente sua obra. Mas foi em seu livro A Sociedade dos Indivíduos é que pude perceber que tal abordagem ia ao encontro da minha pesquisa, em referência à “balança nós-eu”. O objetivo deste trabalho é mostrar a presença da Força Expedicionária Brasileira como um forte grupo dos “nós”, a situação de ir para a guerra criou vínculos nesses homens: a amizade, a fraternidade e o companheirismo. As narrativas demonstram bem o que ELIAS quis dizer com a procura da afetividade. Hoje, as Associações dos ex-combatentes, espalhadas por todo o Brasil, demonstram claramente o fortalecimento deste grupo.

Abstract

The research was based in three books of Norbert Elias: The Civilizing Process, that facilitated a deeper analysis and that gave sense to my research object on the daily of the Brazilian squares. In Human Condition, thrown in 1985, 40 years after the war, ELIAS places us before the human conflicts that are part of the man's destiny. The author vivid important episodes of the European politics before Second World War  they are sharp marks in its life, with the very close relatives' loss; such facts characterized its work deeply. But it went in its book The Society of the Individuals it is that I could notice that such theme went to the encounter of my research, in reference to the "scale we-me". The objective of this work is to show the presence of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force as a strong group of the "knots", the situation of going for the war created entails in those men: the friendship, the fraternity and the companionship. The narratives demonstrate well that ELIAS wanted to say with the search of the affectivity. Today, the former-combatants' Associations, spread by the whole Brazil, demonstrate the invigoration of this group clearly.
