Abstract
The present review aims to analyze, descriptively and critically, the book “Game theory:
the ludic dimension of human existence”, by Jeferson J. M. Retondar. This book is
composed of five chapters and aims to contribute significantly to the debate concerning
the importance of gaming in the formation of the individuals. Therefore, it brings an
epistemological analysis of the game, that supports a paradigm of Education through
Play.
