Goals achieved in 2019 and new challenges for 2020

Abstract

The Journal Conexões: Physical Education, Sport, and Health in 2019, by implementing the new system of continuous publication, fulfilled its main goal for the year, which was to increase the number of articles published. There were original articles, experience reports and review articles. We also expanded the regional diversity of authors and reviewers, maximizing the magazine's insertion in the national and international scene, with the publication of foreign authors with texts in English and Spanish. As of 2020, we have planned to publish four dossiers on the topics of Physical activity, nutrition and metabolism; Motor Praxiology; School Physical Education; History of Sport and Physical Education; and Gymnastics.
