Resumen

La dependencia del alcohol y del tabaco es un problema relativo a la salud publica. El abuso
de esas sustancias conduce a altos índices de morbosidad y mortalidad en diversos países. La
práctica de ejercicio físico puede ser vista como una herramienta para compensar los efectos
nocivos causados por el abuso de las mencionadas sustancias. El objetivo de este estudio fue
analizarla literatura científica, la relación de los efectos dela ejercicios físico como
coadyuvante en el tratamiento de alcohol y tabaco. Fue realizada una busqueda de literatura
utilizando las bases de datos Medline y PsycINFO conteniendo informacion sobre
experimentos que estudien la relacion entre ejercicio y dependencia de alcohol y/o tabaco. En
total, fueron presentados 19 artículos: 15 artículos relativos a personas dependientes de
tabaco, 3 con personas dependientes de alcohol y 1 caso dependiente de ambos. Por lo tanto,
se concluyó que el ejercicio muestra evidencia positiva en la recuperación de las personas
que dependen deestas sustancias. Desde entonces, la dependencia del alcoholy el tabacova en
aumento cada año, yla gente ha comenzado su consumo cada vez más temprana.
