CRISE DE PARADIGMA; MUDANÇA DE IDENTIDADE; REGULAMENTAÇÃO: NOTAS PARA O ESTUDO DA EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA BRASILEIRA ATUAL

Resumen

Intentou-se apreender a situação atual da educação física brasileira buscando subsídios em sua própria produção teórica, na antropologia, na filosofia e, especialmente, na genealogia do poder traçada por Michel Foucault. Desvelou-se inicialmente um embate, no qual dois fenômenos assaz imbricados – a crise de paradigma e a estruturação de uma nova identidade – apresentam-se como uma reação ao controle dos corpos exercido pela educação física e apoiado no saber cartesiano-positivista. No mais recente episódio, contra-atacando essa reação, a regulamentação da profissão desponta como uma potente (e sedutora) retomada – por meio de eficazes dispositivos de poder – da filosofia que sustenta a pedagogia corporal dominadora, que racionaliza, explica e adestra o corpo para submeter e utilizar o indivíduo.

Abstract

We tried to grasp the present situation of physical education in Brazil, looking for information in it’s own theoretical product, in anthropology, in philosophy and, specially, in the genealogy of power created by Michel Foucault. At first, a battle became evident, in which two phenomena very much entangled one with the other – a crisis of paragon and structuring of a new identity – are presenting themselves like a reaction against control of the bodies exercised by physical education and supported by Cartesian-positivist knowledge. In a more recent episode, counter-attacking against that reaction, the regulation of the profession comes out like a powerful (and temptress) coming back – by way of efficient devices of power – of the philosophy that sustains the dominating pedagogy of the body, that rationalizes and explains the body to submit and to make use of the individual.
