Resumo

A codificação da evidencialidade é uma área pouco estudada nas línguas da família Yuto-Asteca, apesar de ser possível encontrar vestígios desta categoria na maioria dos membros desta família (Thornes 2018). O Norogachi rarámuri tem pelo menos três marcadores diferentes de evidencialidade: reportada, auditiva e inferencial. Nem todas as línguas têm uma categoria gramatical de evidencialidade e, em muitas que a têm, é comum que esses marcadores estejam intimamente relacionados a outras categorias, como aspecto, tempo ou modalidade (Aikhenvald 2018; Forker 2018; Hengeveld 2011). Este trabalho enfoca a codificação da evidencialidade reportada, que distingue dois graus de distância em relação ao falante: informação de segunda mão reportada com o morfema -ru, e informação de terceira mão com -la ruwá, esta última relacionada ao aspecto anterior. Levando em conta a correlação entre aspecto e evidencialidade, proponho um quarto membro da categoria evidencial no Norogachi rarámuri, o marcador evidencial direto não especificado -li, que tem uma relação histórica com o aspecto perfectivo. Este trabalho se concentra em descrever os marcadores em sua função aspectual e como estes deram origem às funções evidenciais.
