Resumo
A pandemia de COVID-19 teve um grande impacto na sociedade mundial, resultando em milhões de mortes e consideráveis consequências em várias áreas, como a econômica, a social e a emocional, além de sugerir uma nova definição do ambiente residencial, mostrando a importância da ventilação natural e da qualidade do ar nos edifícios. Considerando este contexto, a seguinte revisão de literatura tem como objetivo entender o impacto nos estudos de ventilação natural em edifícios multifamiliares diante das novas exigências habitacionais impostas pela pandemia. A pesquisa busca identificar os contextos estudados, incluindo padrões climáticos e de uso do solo, bem como examinar os objetivos específicos de cada um deles, além de investigar os métodos e ferramentas utilizados nesses estudos. As informações foram coletadas em quatro bases de dados científicas entre 2020 e 2023. Após análise e aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, 18 artigos atenderam aos objetivos da revisão. Foram identificados estudos com ênfase na qualidade do ar interno (IAQ), utilizando métodos como questionários e investigações sobre a transmissão da COVID-19 por meio da ventilação natural em edifícios. No entanto, a maioria dos estudos adotou uma abordagem baseada na análise da ventilação através de simulação usando Dinâmica de Fluidos Computacional (CFD). As conclusões destacam a concordância entre as opiniões dos residentes e os resultados das simulações ambientais, mas enfatizam a falta de estudos sobre a influência do ambiente construído na disponibilidade de ventilação natural em edifícios multifamiliares, apontando para uma área promissora de pesquisa.
