Abstract

The first issue of 2016 of the Journal of Research in Architecture and Building Construction presents five articles dealing with issues related to Brazilian cities. There is a common link between the articles, based on the rich characteristics of the contemporary city and its complex urban context. As a result, the body of research presented in this number expresses the creativity and the importance of studies in the area, in addition to revealing provocative methodological procedures.
