Abstract
This paper discusses how to meld the relationship between the personal dimension of the life story and political dimension of narrative research, to increase their understanding. According to Goodson a task of (auto)biographical research is to transform life stories into life histories, the narratives of actions into the genealogies of context, by employing triangulation and adequate methodology. In the last part it applies to educational policy, which should be complemented by the voices of the actors, like other personal face educational policy, showing how individually affects the lives of the actors. Life stories can be a good device to show the personal dimension of change.
